Bethesda Brothers General Contracting
About
Bethesda Brothers General Contracting is a family-run residential and commercial general contracting company founded by Gabriel Nucci of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Recognized as one of the fastest-growing and most trusted contractors in the Bethesda and D.C. metro area, we’ve become a go-to choice for high-end residential renovations and commercial build-outs through our commitment to prompt communication, honesty, and quality craftsmanship.
Our Story
Growing up, we did two things with most of our time: wrestling and working for our dad.
Our dad, just like his dad and many of our uncles, is a general contractor. When we were young kids on job sites, we couldn’t do much besides pick up screws, clean up, and wander around the job, but we still had a blast.
Once our teenage years came around, we started working for real on weekends and during the summers, with our skills and knowledge growing every year. In our early teens, we set up protection, cleaned up debris, and handled simple tasks around the job site. A few years later, we were doing demolition, framing, painting, hanging drywall, masonry, and more.
By our later teenage years, we were helping manage projects for our dad and grandfather’s company. We picked up materials, scheduled employees and subcontractors, inspected work, coordinated job-site activities, and handled many of the day-to-day responsibilities that come with running a construction project.
Fortunately, growing up in the construction industry and having family in the business for decades connected us with experienced tradespeople, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the DMV area.
Eventually, like father, like son, we became general contractors ourselves and started Bethesda Brothers General Contracting in 2020.
More About The Brothers
Gabriel has a long history of entrepreneurship and leadership. While already working in the family construction business, he used his spare time to pursue other ventures.
During high school, Gabriel was accepted into a trade program at Thomas Edison High School of Technology, where he developed a deeper understanding of the construction trades. During the program, he also received his Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification.
Around the same time, Gabriel founded and operated a local company called Wild Dog Students, a neighborhood services business run by young adults. The company became highly successful locally and was recognized as a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite.
